Use the APIs only for a specific, lawful business purpose — such as KYC, underwriting, claims, lending, marketplace listing checks or fleet compliance — and only for vehicles and people connected to that purpose.
2. Prohibited uses
- Stalking, harassment, profiling or locating individuals.
- Building or reselling databases, bulk scraping or enumerating records.
- Debt collection or recovery practices that violate law or regulatory guidelines.
- Reselling or exposing raw API access to third parties without our written agreement.
- Circumventing rate limits, quotas, masking or access controls; sharing keys between organisations.
- Any use that breaches privacy, consumer-protection or data-protection law.
3. Data handling
Store only the fields you need, protect them with appropriate security, retain them only as long as your purpose requires, and never display one person's data to another without a lawful basis.
4. Monitoring and enforcement
We monitor usage patterns to detect abuse (for example sudden volume spikes, key sharing or enumeration) and may request information about your use case, throttle traffic, revoke keys or suspend accounts.
5. Reporting misuse
If you believe the Service is being misused, contact us with details. We investigate every report.
